Ananya Panday is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Bollywood films. Ananya was born on October 30, 1998, in Mumbai to actor Chunky Panday and Bhavna Panday. She completed her education at Mumbai’s Dhirubhai Ambani International School. In 2017, she also participated in Vanity Fair’s Le Bal des Débutantes event that was held in Paris. Ananya started her acting career in 2019 with the teen romantic comedy-drama film ‘Student of the Year 2’ which was directed by Punit Malhotra. The film was backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and also starred actors Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. Following this, she starred in the 2019 romantic comedy ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ which was a remake of the 1978 film of the same name. Ananya also appeared in the 2020 masala film ‘Khaali Peeli,’ alongside Ishaan Khatter. She will also be seen in Shakun Batra’s untitled 2021 romantic drama alongside Deepika Padukone. Her other projects include Puri Jagannadh’s multilingual film ‘Liger’ and Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.’
